ACR MicroFix 406 GPS PLB

Putting the power to save lives in the palm of your hand, the ACR MicroFix 406 Personal Locator Beacon is small, lightweight and easy to use.

It’s as easy as pushing a button, and with an internal GPS receiver the MicroFix will acquire your GPS position and transmit it along with your personalized identifier code through the COSPAS-SARSAT satellites instantly alerting Search and Rescue forces that you need help immediately.

The MicroFix works fast, if GPS data is present in the beacon’s first transmission, SAR forces can be notified and start planning your rescue in as little as three minutes.

Lanyard and removable holster provide functionality and allow for multiple mounting options on backpack, belt, webbing, and life vest. Can be easily carried by hikers, kayakers, climbers, skiers, hunters, pilots, snowmobilers and any other outdoor enthusiasts.

Full function self test of internal circuitry, battery voltage and power, 406 MHz transmission, and GPS acquisition insures the MicroFix is working correctly. Flat, stainless steel antenna wraps compactly around the unit for easy stowage, and is ready for rapid deployment.

Waterproof to 16.5 feet (5 meters). Lithium batteries have a 5 year replacement life (11 year storage). 5 year limited warranty.

When activated, the unique identification code in your PLB is linked to the registration database. This way authorities can retrieve valuable information about you and your trip.
