ACR Terrafix 406 GPS I/O PLB

Packed with features like an internal GPS, ACR’s exclusive FastACQ™ GPS technology and an external GPS optical interface, the TerraFix 406 GPS I/O PLB gives the user unparalled versatility.

This Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) can include GPS coordinates in the emergency satellite transmission via a handheld GPS, using the optical interface or using the onboard, internal GPS built right into the PLB. ACR’s FastACQ™ technology relays accurate GPS information to the satellites faster than all other internal GPS PLBs.

Includes durable rubber holster allows the user to attach the PLB to webbing straps, carabiners, D-Rings, PFDs, belts or climbing harnesses. All ACR PLBs are made to exceed the rigorous testing standards of COSPAS-SARSAT, FCC, NOAA, U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Air Force Rescue Coordination Center for durability, waterproof, floatation, high visibility and extreme operating temperatures at a minimum of 24 hours at -20C (longer at warmer ambient temperatures).

Comes complete with a 5 year Lithium Battery and a 5 year warranty. All ACR PLBs can be used worldwide.
