And unlike magnetic and fluid trainers which lose speed quickly, CENTRIFORCE™ has a smooth rollout when coasting, so your pedal stroke feels more natural in the dead spots or when you ease up on the pedals.

The Ultra also features adjustable height, which allows the rear wheel to be as close as ¼” to the ground. No more phone book under the front wheel.

The ULTRA's unique resistance unit provides a feel that's smoother and more realistic than anything else on the market. To simplify things, other trainers are speed sensitive; as long as the rear wheel is spinning, the trainer will provide a given degree of resistance per a given wheel speed. CENTRIFORCE provides resistance based on speed and acceleration, which allows it to feel hard when you're pushing it, but as soon as you back off, the resistance drops far more dramatically than with mag or fluid, allowing for a smooth feel that's more like riding on a flat road.

Oversized Aluminum Frame
The ULTRA's oversized aluminum frame redefines stiffness and stability in a trainer frame. Massive square back legs with gussets and plenty of overlap at the axle cones and base will resist flex even under the hardest efforts. And since, the adjustable height frame allows you to lower your center of gravity for added stability, the only thing left flexing is the rider.
