The Camp Corsa Nanotech ice axe uses innovative Sandvik Nanoflex® steel alloy (20% lighter than normal steel and up to 60% stronger) attachments on the pick and spike to drastically increase the strength and durability of these points without significantly increasing the weight.
Well-suited for classic mountaineering, but thanks to the steel attachments, it can also be used on icy and hard snow where the properties of steel become desirable. 7075 aluminum alloy single-curve bent shaft with the aggressive Sandvik Nanoflex® spike offers a maximum range of comfortable positions for posting and anchoring.
Designed for use where minimal weight is a prime concern. The hollow shaft is plugged to prevent snow from getting in and weighing you down. The grip area patches provide a better grip.
