Updated with a new Length-Lock system. The Epic Active Tour Hybrid paddle is a versatile paddle designed to create a smooth, powerful stroke. It also performs well in flat water and open water racing for those who opt not to use a wing paddle.
There are several features that put Epic paddles above the rest. They use True Oval shafts that provide a better grip and greater strength. The new Length-Lock system is easy to tighten and open with a small lever that folds flat into a recessed area, making it impossible to over-tighten. The Length-Lock system allows precision length and angle adjustments. Length Lock also gives a solid dependable connection between shafts. Epic uses the best materials and the best paddle tested designs.
This Hybrid paddle utilize a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass to give a good balance of weight and price. Hybrid shafts and blades help to reduce the weight to an incredible 1 pound 13 ounces.
The two piece Length Lock design allows you to adjust the paddle at any angle and adjust the length from 210 to 220 cm. This allows you to have a long paddle for use in a canoe or wide kayak or a short paddle for use in a narrow kayak.
