The Suunto M-3D Leader Compass is a quality ergonomically designed precision compass for accurate and convenient direction taking.
The M-3D has an ergonomically designed baseplate with rounded edges and anti-slip rubber pads. Luminous bezel makes night navigation easier. The serrated bezel ring is easy to turn even in cold conditions while wearing gloves.
Liquid filled for steady needle. Dail with 2 degree increments. Self-cleaning capsule bearing. Individually balanced. Sapphire jeweled bearing. Baseplate has 1:24, 1:62, inch and centimeter scales. Also has a 4X round magnifying lens to help read small map details. Operates in temperatures from -40°F to +140°F.
