The Lafuma Active Pro Raid 20 backpack is the pack that Lafuma built for its sponsored adventure racers. It presents a new standard in stability. The award winning Motion Control System significantly reduces backpack movement during use.
By pulling two straps while wearing the Active Pro Raid 20, the Motion Control System allows you to pull the backpack securely to your torso. We have tested this system and it does significantly reduce pack movement while running, biking or hiking.
Water bottle holders on each shoulder strap are secure even while running and they stay out of the way when not in use. The 2 zippered hip belt pockets are huge and wrap around your waist for improved stability.
External bladder access makes changing your hydration faster. On the back panel of the backback, a Velco pad pulls up to give you fast access to the hydration sleeve. Hose ports are over each should strap. 3D mesh padded back panels provides protection and allows ventilation.
The shoulder straps are lightly padded for comfort and have reflective panels for added visibility. The waistbelt buckle is located on the left side, with a padded panel between you and the buckle. The buckle system increases comfort. The sternum strap slides up or down three inches and has an integrated safety whistle built into the sternum strap buckle.
Rear stretch mesh pocket gives additional storage for frequently needed items, or gear that needs to dry out. Large top zippered pocket works well for food, first aid kit, sunglasses, etc. Two quick attachment points enable you to strap a mountaineering axe or trekking poles to the rear of the pack. A tent pole sleeve with external access allows you to easily carry tent poles longer than the pack.
The main compartment has a large zippered access and 3 water drainage ports at the bottom. Made from extremely durable Cordura Light 80 fabric.
