The Montbell Oupace Parka is ultra compact and lightweight. Three-layer Breeze Dry-Tec technology coupled with taped seams throughout makes the Outpace extremely waterproof without any sacrifice to breathability.
An athletic cut and core vent pockets make this piece a good fit for aerobic activities. Ultrasonic welded construction reduces weight. Water resistant zippers keep the rain out.
Two hand pockets, 2-way adjustable hood and articulated arms give this jacket excellent versatility. Elastic and velcro alpine cuff system and adjustable draw cord waist seal out the elements.
Fabric rated at 25,000mm water resistance, and 15,000g/m2/24hrs breathability. Compresses down to 3.1" x 5.5". Stuff sack included.
Breeze Dry-Tec is an innovative Montbell waterproof/breathable material, and one of the only air-permeable waterproof fabrics available today. Montbell was able to manipulate the size and consistency of the pores, eliminating the non-porous coating and drastically increase the ventilation of the material. In fact, tests indicate that Breeze Dry-Tec is more than twice as breathable as many of its competitors while maintaining a high level of weatherproofing.
