Often times it is difficult to keep your feet warm while mountain biking. During cold weather cycling your feet have a high degree of wind chill. Mountain bike shoes almost always have ventilation panels that let cold air in and the needed tight fit doesn't allow for adequate inside insulation.
Calien Toes are wind/waterproof and have a thermal fleece lining to keep your feet drier and much warmer. The Nylon/Lycra® binding keeps the Calien Toes secure during use and doesn't interfere with your shoe cleat.
