Smith utilizes distortion-free, 9 base lenses to provide precise optical clarity and maximize coverage while minimizing peripheral exposure to sun, wind, and glare. Smith's Tapered Lens Technology (TLT) corrects the distortion by progressively tapering the lens thickness from the optical center toward the peripheral view. Light waves now travel directly to your eye to generate precise vision and reduce potential eye fatigue. Objects are clearly defined and seen in their exact position. All lenses provide 100% UVA-UVB protection and are shatter-resistant.
Rugged, resilient Grilamid® frames flex and are tough enough to withstand the most aggressive physical punishment your body can endure. Rubberized nose pads and temple ends are made from moisture-absorbing Megol®. As you sweat Megol® becomes tacky, keeping your sunglasses positioned comfortably on your face even during the most rigorous activities.
