The Suunto Advizor is an indispensable piece of adventure gear. Designed specifically for Multi-Sport applications, it features a Heart Rate Monitor, Altimeter, Compass, Barometer, Thermometer and Watch.
The Heart Rate Monitor can help you train for better performance. Upper and lower heart rate limits can be set in one beat increments for target zone training. Audible and visual alarms alert you when you are exceeding preset limits.
Crucial information can be stored for later viewing: training time, maximum, minimum and average heart rate, as well as time spent in, above and below the target zone during training.
Elevation can be read in either feet or meters which is handy for when you travel. The Compass in adjustable for Declination to keep you headed in the right direction. Backlight makes night use easy.
Heart Rate Monitor
Heart rate range 20 - 240 beats.
Upper and lower limits adjustable in one beat intervals to set target heart rate zone.
Audible alarms alert the user of exceeding upper or lower limit.
Heart rate displayed in relation to current time or running time.
Auto-repeat of countdown timer for interval training (training interval, recovery interval, number of intervals).
HRM memory activated from starting of stopwatch or interval timer stores total training time, maximum, minimum and average heart rate during training, as well as time spent in, above and below target heart rate zone.
Altimeter
Current altitude: range up to 29,500 ft / 9,000m - resolution 10ft / 5m.
Ascent/descent rate in ft/min or m/min.
Difference measurement function allows zeroing of the altimeter for following vertical progress between stages.
Automatic 24-hour memory stores altitude and ascent/descent rate for every hour.
Logbook stores total ascent/descent, average ascent/descent rate, number of runs skied, duration of log.
