The Suunto Orca Kayak Compass is a great tool for navigating on the water. Because your hands are busy and the boat is almost never flat, navigation can be difficult while paddling. This handy compass makes the job much easier.
The Orca Compass reads accurately up to a 30 degree tilt, in 5 degree increaments. This is a direct read compass, meaning that you read it from the front. If you view the compass from above the numerical indicators will appear reversed. This makes it easier to read when paddling. The capsule is luminous to help you read your direction at night.
Shock cord and tough nylon clips attach compass to kayak's bungee cords or eyelets in seconds. Fits kayaks of varying shapes. The body is thermoplastic rubber and the compass is shock proof to deal with the pounding of waves. Operates in temperatures ranging from -14 F to +140 F. No declination adjustment.
