The Borealis Jacket offers athletes a full-zip, durable, lightweight protection for long forays across varied terrain. Comprised from 100 percent recycled Borealis fleece, with Carbon from Bamboo technology; keeping athletes dry, protected from harsh UV rays, and odor-free.
Monkey thumbs (cuffs that are slightly longer with a thumb hole) provide additional coverage and warmth at the wrist and hand area. They also create an uninterrupted barrier to the elements when wearing gloves.
Zippered napoleon chest pocket provides secure storage for small items. Continuous hem-to-cuff stretch panel increases freedom of movement. Drop tail hem gives additional coverage.

Bamboo Charcoal technology utilizes the highly porous nature of carbon to greatly increase the surface area of the fabric. In some cases, the surface area of the product may equate to a football field. Consequently, moisture has more space to wick, disperse, and dry more quickly. Studies show that Bamboo technology achieves a 50-percent increase in moisture transfer compared to standard performance fabrics. The increased surface area of the treated fabric also absorbs and decomposes odor-causing molecules. As a serious added bonus, the same porous structure of the molecules traps harmful UV rays.
